Function std.json.JSONValue.str

Value getter/setter for JSONType.string.

string str() pure @property return @trusted const;

string str (
  scope return string v
) pure nothrow @property @nogc return @trusted;

Throws

JSONException for read access if type is not JSONType.string.

Example

JSONValue j = [ "language": "D" ];

// get value
writeln(j["language"].str); // "D"

// change existing key to new string
j["language"].str = "Perl";
writeln(j["language"].str); // "Perl"
