Class std.process.environment

Manipulates environment variables using an associative-array-like interface.

class environment ;

This class contains only static methods, and cannot be instantiated. See below for examples of use.

Methods

get (name, defaultValue) Retrieves the value of the environment variable with the given name, or a default value if the variable doesn't exist.
opBinaryRight (name) Identify whether a variable is defined in the environment.
opIndex (name) Retrieves the value of the environment variable with the given name.
opIndexAssign (value, name) Assigns the given value to the environment variable with the given name. If value is null the variable is removed from environment.
remove (name) Removes the environment variable with the given name.
toAA () Copies all environment variables into an associative array.
factory (classname) Create instance of class specified by the fully qualified name classname. The class must either have no constructors or have a default constructor.
opCmp (o) Compare with another Object obj.
opEquals (o) Test whether this is equal to o. The default implementation only compares by identity (using the is operator). Generally, overrides for opEquals should attempt to compare objects by their contents.
toHash () Compute hash function for Object.
toString () Convert Object to a human readable string.
